One of our favorite projects is the rehabilitation of children with SMDD using canis therapy. For children with the most severe developmental disorders, this is sometimes the only way to greatly adjust the emotional and volitional sphere, get rid of fears, aggressive behavior and gain self-confidence, relieve spasticity and better control their body, and better build communication with others.
To participate in the project, we involve specialists from the “Sunny Dog” Center – Tatyana Lvovna Lyubimova and Veronika Khmyzova.

The thing is that animals are sincere and incorruptible, they are devoted and love no matter what! Indeed, the project has been successfully implemented since 2017 at the Formula for Growth Center. But for the first time, canis-therapists were invited to the wards of the fund back in 2004, before the official registration of the fund. Over the past 10 years, almost 2 million rubles of donations from both private and corporate philanthropists have been directed to the project.
Now canis therapy is available to children thanks to the help of the Morgan Lewis company, private donations on the Global Giving platform, private donations through the Blago.ru platform and on the website of the Diema’s Dream Foundation.
The budget of the current project for classes in 2022 is 472,000 rubles. Of these, almost half of the necessary funds have already been collected.
