On the 25th June, a round table will take place to discuss the results of two pilot projects using the “Portage” methods in Moscow.
In January of this year, two pilot projects began using the “Portage” methodology in the Ribnovskoi boarding school (Ryazan region) and in the Centre for the Promotion of Family Education “Skolkovskiy” (Moscow). The “Portage” methodology is intended for individual work with children who have various psychophysical disorders. For six months the work of the teams from both organisations achieved huge results in mastering the methodology and managing to master many vital skills with the children.
At the round table both teams will present the results of their projects generally and will talk about the children’s progress. The experts, who have been working closely with the teams for the past six months, will also be taking part, alongside partners of the project from Ryazan, members of the management fund and other participants of the organisations. Together we will discuss the results, share our opinions of the methodology and discuss further plans.
