We are again have a good news! Despite the growth of the pandemic and the fall in the ruble exchange rate, our regional Portage teams continue to work with children with special needs.
In October 2019, Pskov was visited by Elena Volodina, Diema’s Dream Fund Director , and Nina Weddell, Manager for the Development of Educational Programs of The Promise Charity, who held an installation session for specialists of the Bobrov orphanage. We saw the first results in March 2020.
All specialists of the Bobrovsky orphanage(Pskov) who have experience in”Portage” in their work with children with special needs, note that children are more willing to make contact and quickly learn basic skills of self-service and socialization. Of course, you can achieve such amazing results only with systematic training. Therefore, the “Portage” project continues its work even in the conditions of quarantine!
