On May 26, 2017, the car brand Renault in Russia held the popular event “A Day of Donation” in relation to donating blood for the fourth year in a row. More than sixty employees of their company and ARNPO took part in the action aimed at saving the lives of one hundred and twenty six strangers, as well as one girl who went by the name of Nastia Grushakevich.
This year, sixty one kind hearted employees and ARNPO participated in the charity event, which is traditionally held with a team visiting from the Blood Center of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia to help with the event.
Unfortunately, despite everyone willing to contribute, not everyone could donate due to medical reasons. However, forty one people donated their blood, resulting in a whooping 18.9 litres of blood, but out of the sixty one employees many also gave monetary contributions. As a result of everyone’s good will, 14 thousand rubles were collected to pay for the treatment of Nastia Grushakevich – a child who is supported by Diema’s Dream.
At that time, those who could not be a donor, but wanted to support the action, took part in a fun flash mob photographed together in the form of heart with pink balloons.
In the next year there will be a small anniversary of the donor’s Day in the company – 5 years. And all the staff will happy to celebrate 5 years of selfless donations!
