Thanks to our partners at the Pride fitness club in Vidnoye (Moscow), we have got to know and have started working with the Vidnoye orphanage! Seventy children live at the orphanage, twenty of them are orphans and the majority have parents. The children are aged between 0 – 4 years old. Around forty of the children are using rehabilitation services for disabilities.
All of the orphanage rooms were decorated with love, including signed boxes for personal belongings and the children treated so affectionately! The Vidnoye orphanage has created wonderful conditions for the development and health of the young children. Furthermore, we are glad to say that the children do not stay here for a long time because families often adopt children.
They say that the orphanage is well provided for, but children are always in need of toys and materials such as: musical instruments, washing machines, play areas, pretend dining sets with plastic fruit and vegetables, musical books with thick washable pages.
Soon we will take New Year gifts to the children there, with help from Renault Russia: the children’s presents will include safe and modern swings, bicycles, wheelchairs, educational materials, new towels and other gifts!
