Since November 2022, the Portage Pilot Project has been launched at the Kaluga Rehabilitation Center
The specialists of the center, who were trained in Moscow, began to master the methods and principles of working with children.
The project will last 6 months. During this time, each specialist will accompany a family with a child with severe and multiple developmental disorders (SMND). With the support of Portage specialists, parents themselves will successfully conduct correctional and developmental classes at home. Daily classes on the principles, norms and with the help of copyrighted materials Portage is a guaranteed success for the child in mastering the skills of cognition, infant skills, speech and communication, as well as movement, self-service and socialization.
