With the support of students of the Russian National Medical Research University, named after N. I. Pirogov there will be held a charitable event called “Dream Run 2017” in Troparevo Park in Moscow.
October 28, 2017 from 10 AM to 2 PM.
“Dream Run 2017” is organized to support Diema’s Dream Fund. All the funds, raised within the event will be directed to providing children with infantile cerebral palsy and other disorders of the musculoskeletal system during the postoperative period with hygiene products.
The event was initiated by the members of the Malaysian Indian Student Association, students of the Faculty of Medicine from Malaysia and India with the support of the following partners:
- The Volunteer Center of the RNIMU, named after N. I. Pirogova,
- Embassy of Malaysia in the Russian Federation
- Islamic Medical Association of Malaysia (IMAM)
The route of 5 kilometers will lie through the park. Along the entire route length of there will be located food points, where participants can have some snacks and beverages.
According to one of the members of the Malaysian Indian Student Association who initiated the race, Edwina: “I hope that this event would be able to bring people of different background together to unite and support a cause no other than helping the children of Diema’s Dream Fund to get proper, hygienic post-operation care. We hope to raise as much funds as we can for these children, by the words of Aesop, “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”
Before the closing ceremony there will be a ceremony of rewarding the participants of the run with prizes and gratitude from Diema’s Dream Fund.
